General Boundary Change information
(applicable from April 1st 2008)

The Landscape Institute has now changed branch boundaries to comply with the English regional boundaries used by Regional Development Agencies & Regional Assemblies.

This means that some members in the London and South East, South West, East Anglia and Midlands’s branches will have moved branch.

The creation of separate London and South East branches is also in the process of being implemented. The SW Branch boundaries have been changed to incorporate Gloucestershire. Hampshire has moved to the South East branch.

These changes mean member distribution will be more even throughout the regions and the new boundaries mean branches will be able to develop more effective engagement with external bodies on policy issues, for instance.

Members have been automatically moved into their new branch as of 1st April. If you wish to stay in your old branch or move to another which is more convenient, please contact central LI by emailing membership@landscapeinstitute.org and informing them of your preferred Primary Branch. A map of the new boundary borders is available on the LI website, in the branches' area.
